Our History
The greater Muskegon community has been hosting a Muskegon CROP Hunger Walk event since 1980! To date, we have raised more than $1.2 million to support hunger fighting programs in Muskegon County and around the world.
CROP Hunger Walk funds are used by Church World Service (CWS) to provide both immediate help during disasters, and long-term assistance in creating sustainable communities.
One quarter (25%) of the dollars raised in Muskegon County stay within the local community to support food pantries, community gardens and healthy eating/educational programs. Thousands of Muskegon area residents have benefited from the Muskegon CROP Hunger Walk.
